Looking for some help please on my 2008 Audi A3 8P 2.0tdi
They key fob would not open the car nor would the key in the door. After much patience I managed to wedge the door open and install the key into the ignition, turn the ignition on, turn it back off and retrieve the key. The key fob then worked and allowed me access to the car, I tried the key in the door too and for some reason this also worked but not at the time when I was locked out. I don't want to lock the car again until I found out what caused the problem, please see an Auto Scan from VCDS below.
