Three weeks ago I part exchanged my A3 TDi and picked up my new A3.
My old one was a 2020 model one of the first batch of new 8y saloons.
Today I’ve received a letter from solera vehicle solutions, that are saying that the dvla has informed them I was the previous owner of the A3 TDi and are asking me to confirm the mileage when I sold the car. The car is for sale on the dealers website and has the mileage listed as when I sold it to them.
Why am I being asked to log on to their website and confirm the mileage,
Should I ignore it and what happens if I do ?

Usually happens if someone does a hpi check on the vehicle and puts in the mileage then someone else comes along and does another hpi check and putting in a lower mileage of the previous hpi which triggers the check
