Got a 2023 8Y, with USB-C ports in the front.
The system reads my USB-C stick, but only sees songs that are not in folders. That’s a problem for me because I organized all my archive as Artist—>Album—>Song
Any tips for making it work? I’d hate to extract all the songs from their folders and put them all together without any rational separation.
FWIW, all my songs have correct tags (album, artwork, etc.)

Thank you!

I've got a similar set up with a 2021 8Y & it detects the folders

I'm using MusicBee on PC to sync the USB stick. The structure on PC is C:\Users\me\Music->Artist—>Album—>Song & on USB music/artist/album/song

What size and format, NTFS, FAT32, is the memory stick?
Have you created it on a MAC, Linux or Windows system?

I've got 64gb & 128gb sticks.
Both are formatted as NFTS on a Windows ystem

I usually format the thumb drive in the EXFAT format which seems to be the preferred method for newer cars. FAT32 would be my 2nd choice. I get my 2022 A3 delivered this weekend so I will report back once it arrives. Ordering a usb-c thumb drive now.
