Hi all .

Need to flush the brake fluid in a 2016 8v RS3.

I can see the bleed nipples at the front are accessable without jacking up and taking the wheels off. Anyone done it this way before ?

Also, is purging the abs pump via vagcom essential? i intend on keeping the fluid reservoir full throughout the bleed.

Any tips/tricks from people who have done this before would be great !

Thanks :)

Edit- looks like there are two bleed nipples per calliper at the front. Appears its essential to jack the car up.

I would definitely take the wheels of & jack all 4 corners & makes life much easier & gunson bleed bottle & use a spare wheel with max 20 psi, then go round & bleed, simplesss.

Just make sure the bottle doesn't run dry & when done you may have a full reservoir, just either syringe residual out or pump once or twice & bleed 1 nipple of to lower to an acceptable level.

Test pedal goes hard after few pumps whilst ignition of & with engine running check it doesn't go to floor.
