B9 or b8

Just bought an2022 A4 and was under impression that year was a b9 chassis but paperwork says b8.
any body know why it’s a b8 manufactured in 2022

F4 chassis, not a 8K.

Might want to remove the picture of your V5.

Sorry for being dense but I didnt understand Darren's answer.

My 2018 A4 which is a B9 also states B8 on the v5. Why? Surely it should say B9?

Remove the picture of your V5 and post a picture of the car instead.
