Rear pan roof not draining.

Hi there, I have a C8 Avant and the rear of the pan roof isn't draining, when I drive there's water sloshing overhead.

Can anyone help me locate the drain points so I can attempt to clean them out. I'm in the UK, so there's more rainy days than sunny ones.

Drop the lining, probably blocked drain pipes.

I’d access the rear drain channels before I drop the headlining.

Remove rear wheel arch liners to find drain holes and use nylon strimmer wire.

If you’re determine to drop the headliner, then it isn’t for the faint hearted. Done it on A4 Avant, I’m sure A6 is exactly the same. You’ll need torx screwdrivers, anti-marring trim tools, needle nose pliers, RS tool for interior grab handles. https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/376769/

Start at the front, remove A pillar trim, Torx screw behind the airbag logo. Disconnect battery before doing this. Remove rubber door rubbers slightly. The sun visors and so forth have plastic trim and clips. Disconnect power tabs.

The actual headlining connects to the sunroof cassette with clips.

B pillar, then mostly plastic clips. Work clean, use nitrile gloves.

Interior grab handles are satan’s work. Be warned.
