Hey guys well ive tried a new N75 but my car is still rarely hitting full boost:(

I am now booked into JKM rolling road day next saturday so really want to get this sorted first.

Please any suggestions would be great, will try and get it vagcom'd again but that was done recently and nothing came up.

Possibly MAF maybe? cant think of anything else.

Cheers,
josh

Could be the N249 Boost Pressure Control Valve. Just replaced mine.

Does it throw up any codes?

97's dont have the N249 setup.

Only things controlling flow on those are the 710N (Diverter Valve) and N75 (boost pressure regulator)

Mine went a bit crazy when my intercooler pipe leaked at a join once, checked everything there?

Ah right... Sorry!

Could be a split/loose pipe/hose as Dave says. Also - when mine went a bit mental i was told that it could be some of the vacuum pipes around the inlet manifold as apparatnly when knackered they can do that.

Hey guys, yep ive checked all my pipes as i first thought that it could be a boost leak.
But sometimes(usually in 4th and 5th from lower revs) it does boost properly so surely it cant be a boost leak???
