s3 dump valve

Hi i'm new to these turbo engines and i have a 2000 s3 which has been re-mapped and last week i had the cats taken off,can you tell me if it's a re-circulating dump valve i need and also am i right in thinking that this is located at the back of the engine going into the maf pipe..????cheers..

Hi and welcome, Yes its a recirculating Dump Valve required, a Forge FMCL007P is the one reccomended by most on here. That's correct and as said above a lot of people replace them for the more duriable Forge 007P.

is it advisable to go for a forge diverter dump valve. i want the option of having the blow off noise.

you'll still get that noise with a diverter valve if you run a panel filter or induction kit.
with my gruppe M kit a get huge atmospheric dump which isn't what i would like but both things are doing there job nicely and theres no way of getting rid of it!
