S3 Bulb overhaul.. and a question : )

Hey

Im in the process of sorting out all the bulbs on my car..

PIAA 6200k D2S HID Bulbs
PIAA 6200k LED sidelight kit
PIAA Clear DRL
PIAA Silver Front/Rear/Side indicator bulbs
OEM Facelift rear lights

My only question was if it was possible to convert the rear number plate bulbs to a blue/white light like the E92 M3, think the BM uses LED bulbs, not sure.. (ill get a pic later on)

Noticed it on my parents M3 (also white) and it looks great!! So now I want it too lol..

I've seen cheap versions on ebay to replace reg plate bulbs, they're 4 little white leds together in the one normal bulb fitting, try mooching round ebay for them but i'm sure you'll be able to get a good brand name for a bit of reassurance and reliability from somewhere

if you replace the reg plate bulbs to LED's you get a check bulb error on dash IIRC

Cheers for the feedback, I saw a guy from one of the US MK5 forums do this but he used xenon look bulbs rather than LED's, think that would be the way to go..
