Does any body know if the newer model sat nav will fit our model? I'm looking at a 2006 sat nav to fit my 2002 car?? have seen an S3 on a 52plate that had similar navigation double din system fitted, the type with only one turnable round botton, over two for our age model.

2nd Question...

To fit double din SATNAV and single din climate. Have been told by chap on Flea-bay that a SATNAV/radio and climate below is not a straight swap into single din radio, climate and cupboard at bottom, but need new centre consol. Is this correct? Has any body retro fitted SATNAV into thier car?

yep do a search for RNS-e there is lots of info on here about the conversion and there is a pdf guide floating about too.

You dont need a new center console. but the climate control will need to be trimmed to fit lower down (or buy an expensive replacement from a double din), need a cage which is approx £60 and a wiring adaptor iirc and you lose the cubby hole.
