I've topped up my screen wash and spilt a bit around the outside of the cap, is this a worry or is it ok? I was wandering if I should pour water around the area or not.

Secondly, all the anti freeze bottles are asking to drain the current anti freeze - am I ok to mix it with the current one as it sounds like a skilled job to drain it.

Yeah sure, by all means pour some water on it I'd not worry too much - its not going to do much harm at all. Where do you think it lands when you fire it out the jets?

Nah, you're fine if topping it up. You do need to replace it fully every few years though as it gets contaminated and loses its anti-corrosion properties. Never get THAT on your paint. Its nasty.

Cheers guys, it's red and for VW G12+.

The amount is just above minimum so I will wait until the next service (about 1,200 miles) but will keep an eye on it.
