Hi all,
A few weeks back I did not drive my car for around 5 days. When I returned to start her up as usual she did not respond and needed a jump start. Not a problem, got a jump and she started working fine.
Now, I have not driven my car for the past 3 days and I just went to move it and the same again.
Is this an obvious answer of the alternator being screwed? Anyway I can tell exactly what it is easily? I have VAGCOM (albeit minus power at the minute). If it is an alternator any ideas how much I'm looking at for a replacement? My car's a 98 T Sport.
Many thanks.
Rob
