How much boost and how to get it?

I have a 1.t Sport '96 and I plan on adding a new intercooler at the end of May to keep those ACT's in check. What boost pressure will the KO3 operate at without throwing the towel in and how do I get it? Car is currently Superchipped and peaks at 1bar (14.5psi)

i doubt you'll get much more than about 18psi from the K03, and running it that hard will probably reduce its life somewhat...

To get it, well really your needing to get yourself a different remap. You MIGHT find a bleedvalve will eek the extra few PSI, but i would want to be trusting the map will fuel correctly for the extra air, and it might even just fuel cut immediately.

When you fit the FMIC you will probably drop a little bit tbh. Expect it to be no more than 14psi and you will not be dissapointed.

The main thing you will find is when you get on it the performance will remain much more consistant rather than a quick blast and heat soak that you would be likely to get now
