This is really for 2.7t and 1.8t guys but if you have a look on youtube, theres a couple of 2.7t's that display boost and oil pressure in the top bit if the DIS (where the radio station is normally)

Im curious to know how this is done. I did email the guy but got no reply. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi,

On my car, boost gauge and oil temperature readout are part of the "Lap Timer" mode functionality in the DIS. It is not normally enabled, but can be enabled via VCDS.

I enabled in on my 2009 A6 2.0TDi via the following steps:

[17 - Instruments]
[Coding - 07]
[Long Coding Helper]
Click on the second byte in the list.
Check the box for "Lap Timer active"
Exit from Long Coding Helper
[Do It!]

Depending on the age/model of your car, the feature may or may not be available.
