Hello, recently had to replace my abs pump which now needs coding to my car. Can the code be determined from the codes in the service booklet or is a scan required?

Received 694308864301841

Did you not take the coding from the old pump before you fitted the new one?

No, but i do still have the old pump. Took it off, bought new one and fitted it - can coding not be determined another way?

Ross Tech website has a guide on coding the MK60 abs pump. Take a look at that.

Ah okay, just taken a look.. So its just as simple as adding up the values of the relevant parts on the car?

Yes but you will also need to carry out basic settings i would imagine for steering angle etc...

Simples if you have done autoscan b4 you only need to go into your tosstech folder find it , open it and note coding then just apply that to your new pump and then do what else you need to do .

Always mind when using a vcd's cable do an AUTOSCAN first and save it before clearing any codes or fitting new equipment that needs coded
