Hi I bought my Audi S3 8V 2014 from new. I specced LED lights, but was surprised to find out that the the Headlight needed manual adjustment and isnt LED. I am baffled. I paid £795 extra for LED lights.
How can I confirm they are LED, surely LED dont need manual adjustment!
Maybe only part of...
Never been flashed or have an issue with Matrix lights. They are pretty clever, effectively feels like full beam is on permanently and lights up the whole road - they (on my 2017 RS3) are a million times better than the LED lights on my 2014 S3 (which when in auto mode, effectively switches the...
Where did you go kwik fit, national tyres or some moron place. I only take my car to people who know what they are doing. my local audi dealer to get robbed or a couple of independents i trust
But front pads have always been expesnive as you need so many.
For my 2017 RS3 saloon last year, I tried lots of places including main dealers and they all were fairly similar prices for either stock front disks/pads or stock front disks/ uprated pads eg Ferrodo DS2500. All were approx...
Mine passed but the idiot tester put an advisory that the sensor had been cabled tied off. Luckily they didnt fail it, then i wouldve lost my rag - ridiculous. How on earth did we cope in the old days without sensors.
Had new stock Audi disks put on my rs3 saloon and Ferodo DS2500 pads. However, the pads dont have a wear sensor. Apprarently it can be an MOT Fail. Just so people are aware.
Not surprise they went under. They talk about ugly plinth, but thats far more ugly and tacky. Prefer the audi sport holder myself (though i'd prefer it if it was a little less bulky).
wow i managed to do a check on the warranty for the rs3 and its coming out at £1100. However, i think this is the normal not renewal rate as im doing the check 2 months before renewal. I did the same for the S3 and it was over £800, when the renewal was £400 ish
I know, its alot but its good value to be fair, given how overpriced dealer labour is too
Thats the difference between the first 3 years warranty you get with a new Audi and any extended warranty that you get with your warranty or years 4 or 5 on a new build warranty, the first 3 years...
Renew it with 30 days of the end of the warranty. Do not wait until after, as it usually doubles. Its well worth having. Our S3 is about £430 i think for the max one £0 excess 10K audi oem parts. I think Warranty direct wanted >£1000 for less cover. It might be worth looking at the all in one...
