Noticed last week when cleaning the back of my car the passenger side rest footwell was soaked. And when I say soaked I mean it was like a lake. As there was paper on the floor it had all matted into the mats. Was a nightmare.
Anyway cleaned it up. Dried everything out and attributed it to...
hi damian....
next week im going to be buying some coilovers for my AMK S3. Just wondering what you would recommend.....
at the moment its a toss up between AP and Apex RDX's. I know the apexs are slightly more, but i don't know if that means they are better....
what are the prices would you...
I'm going to go for AP's. Was going to get some fk's due to price. But after reading some posts on here they're a waste of time. Might aswell spend an extra couple hundred and go for the AP's. Best of the mid range so I've heard.
My car is also very bad on the bumps. Chucks you all over the place. Nightmare in the corners aswell. And like you is on standard shocks since about 2001. It's been getting worse over the 2.5 years I've owned the car. Upgrading to coilovers at the end of the month.
I wasn't to know. Never bought aftermarket wheels before, and never fitted spacers either. Didn't know a hub spigot existed until a couple of hours ago. Whatever. Glad a laugh was had lol ;)
So to be clear, I can take the spigot off the hub, and put them onto the centre of the spacers so they...
The wheels are bbs reps. So I'm assuming someone put the spigots on to make them fit. They're aren't standard wheels. The spacer doesn't fit over the hub, because of these spigots. But if I removed the spigots, it would fit onto the hub, but the centre of the spacers would be to small for the...
So the spigot rings that are on the car now, don't need to be on there, And I can take them off to see if the spacer fits? Surly the raised bit of the spacer (centre)
Should fit inside the wheel perfectly, but it would be loose?
i bought some hubcentric wheel spacers for my car. now the hub is too big for the hole on the spacers. i contacted the seller who says they are right for the car, but i need to remove the red hub spigot ring and then the spacer would fit.
is this correct? it seems to me that even if it does...
Possibly. Serviced it not long ago though, just not the spring. Don't get any error codes, no EML on dash either. Idles fine, it's literally just when dumping the boost. Hopefully it's something as simple (and cheap!!) as just the spring needing to be changed.
I'll check when I get home
