You could try disconnecting the battery for half an hour and see if the software resets itself.....maybe its gone into some sort of limp mode. Does it rev ok?
Not sure how you can say it depends on the corner. In my opinion it's still dangerous and ****** irresponsible. Not saying I would never give the car a hard drive every now and then, but there has to be a time and a place. A friend of mines son is at present serving 5 years for crashing his...
I take it the Police were not called to the accident and I guess if they were your mate would have more to worry about than the loss of his car. We are all young once (even me) and we have all drove like a tw*t at times. Most of mine was done on a motorbike so the only person I hurt was myself...
Cambelt should have already been done and should be stamped in the service book. There is not really a lot which goes wrong with them, but get a qualified mechanic to look over whatever car you get first. As long as its been looked after the engine would have plenty of life left in it.
You can get non acetone nail varnish remover which should be ok. Here is a link to someone who had permanent marker pen on their jeep and used it without it affecting the paint finish.

There are some real tossers in the world. This is why I searched...

They sometimes sell on Ebay, but they are not the cheapest. They are proper Carbon mirror covers. There are pictures of mine if you search my posts around the beginning of last year.
Had a search and the only thing I could see which resembled the problem you have was with the aircon secondary pump. Link for the repair, although i am not convinced thats your problem.

I
I would say 5-6. Like I just posted in a different post. A friend just sold his 2002 S3 with 60K miles for £6000. I thought that was a good price but it still took 3 months to sell and didn't generate a lot of interest. Saying that though, the right person at the right time and it will go quick.
Stunning looking car mate. You would like to think someone would bite your arm off for that price. We are living in **** times for second hand cars though....like my mate who advertised his absolute red 2002 S3, un-modded with 60K on the clock for £6000 and didn't even get the slightest bit of...
You should have the name of the last owner on the reg document. Try to get his number and give him a ring. Its no big deal to him as he doesn't own the car any more so you should get an honest answer if he's had it changed. I don't think it would have been due on the mileage its got at the...
Sorry to hear about your wheels mate. The world is full of thieving scum with no respect for anyone, or their property. If I were in your situation, and I could afford it I would get some more RStt's ditch the Audi locks and fit Mgaurd. As long as you have a power supply in the garage you can...
