My cambelt and water pump changed today.
Looks like it was caught in time as the water pump had a leak!!
What could have happened if the water pump wasnt caught in time??
I have also noticed since it was done to have alot more power ( prob just in my head ).
Should i noticed anything else since having it done?
Also was changed in the quickest time i have ever heard of!!

Listen out for a knock when pulling off in 1st or changing gears. If you hear one then your engine mount(s) have failed/cracked after being disturbed during the cambelt change.
Happened to me. Apparently its quite common.

Should the coolant bottle be hot too?

i have a knock while changing gears and setting off in first ever since i have had my clutch changed its been doing my head in for a while how much are they and are they an audi only part as a few parts are for my car as i found out while changing the clutch cheers
