2 problems please help

1st i have a31.9 tdi sport when i turn the engine off the car makes a noise like a fog honr going off lasts for about 6 seconds once the engine has stoped ?
2 nd when i drive over pot holls or drain covers makes a realy deep loude knock/bang from the rear of the car both springs seem ok with nos cracks/breaks i am running the car on 18" wheels ?

Rear drop links that what it was on my S3 don't know what set up an A3 1.9 tdi has

thanx for fast reply just looked in the manual cant find any rear droplinks on rear axle will have to jack car up and look

just been under the car no rear drop links just shocks and springs roll bar built in to rear axle springs look ok no breaks ?

Bushes could have gone rear, the first issue could be turbo related possibly vacume or boost leak somewhere

ok thanx for replys i got a new set of rear shocks fit them next weekend and update as far as the forg horn sound seems to be coming from a unit above the turbo
