Steering Wheel Controls

On my car (56 Plate A3 Special Edition S Line), I don't have steering wheel controls.
To get them is it a simple case of just buying a new wheel with them and fitting? will the wiring be there already?
Or is there coding, wiring etc required.

is your car a manual or auto? as it may need a new steering control module to get it working as well as the new steering wheel and airbag harness, followed by coding to get the steering controller sorted out.
your in Hertfordshire? I am down in london so if you want i can run a scan on your car to find out what controller you currently have and then we can go from there?
