Coilovers or springs

Hi guys I'm not sure which to fit to my sport avant, I've fitted plenty of spring sets to various cars but only fitted coilovers to a e46 coupe I used to have and the ride was slightly hard,they was ta techniques coilovers so only budget but I'll be fitting a £200 set max again so probably same sort of coilovers.
whats your guys experience and preference?

iv always fitted coils

but on this b8 iv gone the spring route
its given me a good drop and not as harsh as the coils

so coils for looks and springs to keep some comfort.

Wish i went for springs, rides a bit hard on coilovers and i gained a knocking at slow speeds, car got motd yesterday and no play on any joints so **** coilovers in the **** and get springs
