What have you done to your 8V today?

Changed my windscreen wipers for the first time. Things have come on a long way from when you had to prat about with clips and adaptors, now you just press a button, slide the old blade off the arm and push the new one back in its place. I went for Bosch Aerotwins, which by the look of it are the OEM blades anyway.

So today I fitted these, I had them 3 months before the car arrived lol

Thanks to @Rob2k68 for pointing me in the direction of the eBay listing, fitting instructions and an old post I found with pictures as well - was a massive help! Also a shout to @azibux1 as I know you wanted to see how they looked as well as @batch because I know you love carbon fibre and @jassyo06 because it's Ara Blue and carbon lol

Right on with the pics (few of the paint thrown in for good measure) excuse the dirt, it's off to the detailer soon so I'm not touching it.

Cheers Rob, the post I found with pictures you'd posted was a huge help. The printed pictures are a bit confusing. Once I'd done the first one the second one took about 10mins

They reuses the factory o-ring right? If so, does it stop the leak at all?

Both direct fit mate no messing about swapping o-rings goes well with the black washer cap ......

Fitted the REVO wheels again for the summer months, refinished by Diamond Styling in a slightly lighter gunsmoke with high gloss finish and a little flourish on the badge....

Well summer is here so thought I'd do a proper job!

Before I touched it....As you can see the winter hasn't done it any favours!

So as I had all day spare I thought I'd give it a BIG one!!! Washed it by hand (two buckets), clayed it, washed it again, dried it and then got the DA out with the Meguiars Ultimate Compound....a good few hours later and this is the result:

Oh forgot to add, the black glossy door/B pillars were also scratched and dull, gave them a quick going over with the DA/Ultimate Compound and they now look like new :)

I took my facelift s3 to MRC yesterday for a remap, only performance enhancing mod is a vwr intake with turbo tecnics pipe. She made a whopping 397bhp and 402ft torque which was awesome. They also mapped more pops and bangs in which sound awesome too! Top job by MRC. :)

If I knew you needed some for the calliper plates I'd have sent you a couple for them as well, not a fan of the ones on eBay because the S3 isn't a great match for Audi's version (might just be me being picky though lol)
