What have you done to your 8V today?

Last night some c**t decided to to help himself to my wheels and £5 of loose change (don't spend it all at once). Can't tell if anything else was taken yet as it's been seized but they think they may have arrested the guy who did it and I might even be able to get the wheels back. Ignore the rust lol

Did they just drill the locking nuts off, a holes, makes you wonder why having anything nice is worth it.

ah ok, yeah common thing for people to do. absolute nightmare for you, were they standard wheels or aftermarket.

Decided it was time to give the old girl a clean, @jassyo06 I didn't have time to do the tyres before you say anything lol

Washed car and decided to take my exhaust tips off and give them a clean. First time they've ever been off I think lol

Came up alright for how bad they were.

How did you get them off, I gave mine a tap the other day but nothing happened lol

Turn them clockwise. Mine were tight but came off eventually, just keep turning clockwise then you'll be to pull them off.

Are they hard to get off? How is it done? I need to do mine off the car as I can’t get my hands on the top of the tail pipe to clean them properly.

There quite easy to get off, mine were a little stiff but the cars just over 4 year old and I don't think they've ever been touched so there's was loads of little stones that kept trapping the clips.

Alls you do is grab the exhaust tips and turn clockwise 90degree or so then they should pull off.

If your still struggling I'll get a video of it and post it, just let me know

Summer wheels back on today and a full new set of Uniroyal Rainsport 3's.

Got a free aircon regas, suppose to be 59.99. Doesn't feel any colder tbh although they said it was 6degree and 5 after doing it. My halfords temp gauge still shows just under 10 so I'm happy they havnt made it any worse, hopfully with new gas it might chill a little faster

430g of r134a came out and something like 20g of oil.

went to swap my wheels, only to find audi had messed up the locking wheel nut on the wheel, it wont budge, so tempted to drill it out, spent hours on it today with no joy

Comparison as it's back together, minus the Rieger diffuser. Just gotta clean it tonight when it cooled off.

Looking good @Leevr I think I prefer the OEM pipes though, bit more subtle. The grille is a huge improvement.

Why didnt you just buy a ****** track car....or one of them gas guzzling yankee cars with a V8/700 BHP....??? would have been a lot cheaper
