SD Sat Nav question

I have just acquired a 2012 A3 2.0 Tdi SLine.
It doesn't have Sat Nav and when you click on the Nav on the MFSW it says 'Navigation Not Installed'
What is the route to get this installed. There seems to be a lot of SD cards on ebay but I can't imagine it is as straight forward as installing it into the reader.

Is there a cheap way to donut rather that paying full dealer prices.

£500 from the dealer is your only option I am led to believe.

There is no cutting corners with SD Satnav as I believe they have to also activate it at the stealership, but if you do find a way around that please do share with us

Thanks for the reply fellas. I don't think I can justify the 500 quid. I will just stuck with the Garmin

Yes - I wonder what folks do when they buy a £50 card off eBay. Money down the drain?

£500 is a fair bit of cash but still worth it I reckon. Bear in mind it'll make it easier to sell on when the time comes too.
