Lowered but NO RUBS

Excuse the thread repetition but I’m looking for some experience with lowering the S3 on oem 19s whilst ensuring no rubbing.

My family sportback can have the four of us in at times but don’t want that glaring look from the missus if it happens to rub.

Any info is appreciated or pics. Thanks

Read some of the "show me your wheels" threads, I'm looking at 19s now and it seems from my basic searches that a 20mm drop on 19s wearing 235 35 rubber is perfect. Good luck

Mine is lowered 20/25mm on h&r springs with OEM 19” and no rubbing

I have mine lowered the same as boydie with the 19" wing arms + 10mm spacers and no rubbing

On my local forum which I think is the same provider, you can upload any sized photo and it resizes it to the optimum size for the site - not sure of the ins and outs of it tbh

As mentioned you should be fine with a 20mm drop.

Im running RacingLine springs on the standard 19's. Fully loaded with 5 people and I don't get any rubbing. I also have mag ride. Don't forget if you have mag ride, you need someone to adjust the mag ride hight using ODIS. You may be able to do it in VCDS but I haven't tried.
