Knocking sound on cold start Audi a3 8p 1.4 tfsi 125hp

Hi, i only get this sound on cold starts and it goes away after 1 minute or so
What do you think could be?

What's the mileage on the engine?

It has about 120000 miles

What oil weight is currently in the engine?

i use 5w30 castrol, i had an oil change back in february and its still max

actually i don’t really remember the engine doing that before my oil change but i could be wrong

On your mileage I would suggest changing to 5w40 which will quieten it down. Interesting as you don't remember it happening before last oil change.

So should i change it right away? Or can i wait until 9k km-10k?
