Sport exhaust tips paint corrosion

Hi, just a notice for any others who’ve had this happen. From I’ve had the car last November, I’ve noticed the paint around the inner lower edge of the exhaust tips have corroded.
I was looking for a solution and bought this paint pen and tried it and it looks to have took the nasty look away. Its heat resistant and permanent apparently, so I will update this if it comes off with the daily driving and weekly washing.

That’s pretty impressive if it stays looking good. I’ve never seen a paint that can stick to an oily surface. Fingers crossed.

2 weeks of driving in performance mode, 2 washes and lots of crap weather, no signs of the paint peeling/lifting off.
