Where was the place that everyone was getting the RS mats from? Gonna get the old man to get me some for Christmas.

If you're thinking OE then any Audi dealer I would've thought. Crewe Audi mentioned them on here a while back but they're no cheaper than any other dealer.

Doesn't everyone's cars come with mats?

Yes but not the ones that have ‘RS’ or ‘RS3’ embroidered on them. Unfortunately they only come with the interior packs that we don’t have as an option.

You'd be surprised how many people weren't aware of what the GTR was when it was debadged!
But yeah I would love to swap the wheels.

Drivethedeal got the RS3 on offer. Says orders delivered by end of next year. Also got a decent amount of the RS4.

Working on and brining out a new version of a car we've been waiting over a year for and have no idea if or when they will turn up is a special kind of piss take.

Is that drive the deal offer only on the base car with that option pack? Not a bad deal still I guess?

How can they deliver before the end of the year with the stop order on them or are these stock cars sitting somewhere maybe?

Any links to the supplier? I think that’s one of the more subtle front lips and rear diffuser I’ve seen and I don’t hate it…

It's Audi OEM products. I suspect it's the parts from the cars we seen in camouflage recently and nothing to do with a facelift.

Ah ok. So will likely be ridiculously over priced then.

Pretty sure this is the same anounced earlier in the year, the camo car also had a different nadge that was breakinginto the bonnet IIRC?

Does anyone know if when my car comes in the dealer would let an outside detailer take the car to ceramic coat and give it back to them for me to pickup "officially" . I've emailed my dealer and no answer yet. I just don't want to collect my car then hand it over for 3 days. Cars due in anytime now to the dealer and im away working until early Dec so just trying to get ahead of the game really, I imagine it's probably not possible due to insurances and liabilities etc etc

Any decent dealer would accept that. My new car was delivered to my chosen detailer in Aberdeen and I have the option of collecting from the detailer or the dealer will take it back and do a collection from their collection bay.

I’ve seen quite a few arrange this without issue. I booked mine in with my detailer once I had a delivery date and just took it in myself after collection. Local guy so no issues. He had it for 3 days.

Usually I think these kits look stuck on and over the top but this one looks a bit more subtle and, maybe obviously, OEM.

I’d like to see a car with all the bits on it in person.

Not to be a downer, but I doubt it. I don’t recall it being available on almost any Audis, I could be wrong though.

Fair enough, that’s why I said ‘almost any’, because I seem to recall it was an option at some point. It was actually an option on the A4 at one point but I seem to think it was pulled before any cars came off the line.

Strangely, we were able to add it to my wife’s Skoda Kodiaq a while back and I think it’s also available on the Octavia and Superb, but you can’t really get it on any Audi models now.

Yeah a weird one it is but Audi are not a Car maker that conforms to customers demands which is all too obvious of late

Definitely. But if I do things to my car it’s because I want to, not for the social media ‘likes’.

Hahaha, not yet. I’m sure there will be pictures at some point but I’m not wrapping it to change colour or sticking stupid body kits on it to get likes from people.

As an aside, have any of your cars exhausts got slightly louder as the miles increase?

It’s probably in my head but now I’m at 1500 miles on the odometer the car seems a bit louder, or have I got it wrong?

AMG 45s with the Saturday Night Fever interior lighting lol

Lol yeah exactly that.
You could even set the ambient lighting to gradually change colour and cycle. It was quite cool, in a gawdy kinda way - but certainly brightened up the interior and very welcome on dark winter evenings.
I have to squint to see the thin slither of ambient lighting in the 8y’s cave like interior :)

I am inclined to agree. I run the ASR module with the valves open most of the time and I’ve noticed overrun burbles and some pops and crackles if I start it in RS Performance mode. I think I’m on 1200-1300 miles at the moment.

On older cars it was when soot built up inside the exhausts made them louder but I though with GPF we didn’t really get that anymore?
