Nothing to do with your reply. What happened in the gallery thread? I hope it wasn’t my post about Nogaro Blue that caused it. I really am colour blind/deficient. That’s why I have kyalami.

Mate Nogaro blue look heehaw like it does in that photo Nogaro is just little bit darker than Turbo Blue l dislike false representation of colours on cars mostly exclusive paints where they can't be viewed in the metal so you've got to take a leap of faith with your chosen colour/with help of images and this style of false representation can lead you to a expensive mistake here's 2 examples guess the colourWhat happened in the gallery thread? Nogaro looks significantly different than Turbo when they're next to each other. For a start, it's much darker. And then if the sun hits it Nogaro actually has metallic flake and looks good, I think that Turbo just looks a bit flat because it's a solid.Mate Nogaro blue look heehaw like it does in that photo Nogaro is just little bit darker than Turbo Blue l dislike false representation of colours on cars mostly exclusive paints where they can't be viewed in the metal so you've got to take a leap of faith with your chosen colour/with help of images and this style of false representation can lead you to a expensive mistake here's 2 examples guess the colour
Same as Nogaro very very little metallic fleck in TangoOn the metallic paint stuff I have had a few discussions with people over my Tango Red RS3,
Most honestly think that the colour is a straight red and tbh it does take some effort and sun to see the metallic
Oh l know what Nogaro looks like too well it's like l said looks like a flat paint the fleck in it is very fine.... again similar to Turbo that's why l didn't choose it l wanted a blue paint as far away from both as l could hence RivieraNogaro looks significantly different than Turbo when they're next to each other. Theres actually quite a lot, it's just getting the conditions 100% right to see it, very weirdSame as Nogaro very very little metallic fleck in Tango
Misano Red the paint that Tango took over from was the same ...both having really fine metallic particles/fleck in themTheres actually quite a lot, it's just getting the conditions 100% right to see it, very weird
I'll see if I can take a picture..................might take a while
Can see it here if you zoom in.Same as Nogaro very very little metallic fleck in Tango
Good description - the metallic really only shows up in very bright light / direct sunlight and then needs to viewed from an angle foe it to be seen at its best. It’s a mer for showing scratches though but on the plus side it polishes up wellMisano Red the paint that Tango took over from was the same ...both having really fine metallic particles/fleck in them
Saw a well looked after a3 8v sline in Tango it looked really nice like most paint colours if looked after they'll look betterGood description - the metallic really only shows up in very bright light / direct sunlight and then needs to viewed from an angle foe it to be seen at its best. It's because the spec whores demand 'fully loaded' 'every option ticked' cars..................I have just had a random message off an Audi dealership asking if i'am interested in a brand new Rs3 that is
on site standard car Kemora Grey £54.600 . I find it shocking when people haven't received their cars yet .

Nice price shame about the colour ....so how's the Porsche window shopping getting on?I have just had a random message off an Audi dealership asking if i'am interested in a brand new Rs3 that is

Kemora Grey would be my first choice out of a bad selection to be honest . It didn't even have C+SNice price shame about the colour ....so how's the Porsche window shopping getting on?
Mr 5pot, I would be grateful if you could PM me at some point, we need to have a chat. Not sure, all I did was quote my original message with both pictures of the Nogaro blue. Someone seemed to have an issue with it as he does with most members on this forum. Admins seem to turn a blind eye when it comes to him as he’s a ‘paying’ member.
Can’t you PM him?Mr 5pot, I would be grateful if you could PM me at some point, we need to have a chat.
Never heard of this from my son ie option choices as for deposit amounts l think that varies from dealership to dealershipKemora Grey would be my first choice out of a bad selection to be honest . It didn't even have C+S
I'am no further on with the Porsche to be honest the waiting times just put me off ordering .
I guess everyones in the same boat at the moment .
Another thing that pi$$ed me off with Porsche they try and influence how you spec
your car never came across this before a friend told me it they do it to make the car
easier to sell on if it is handed back ?
Porsche Bolton also want a £4k deposit when you order another new one on me .
RS3 8Y as it stands have no individualism as such and most of the colours are far too out there or ordinary ....looking White or red would be my choiceI have looked at a lot of pics of the car colour ranges and for me they all look the same, well not all, the primary colours are fine but shades of blue or red, grey etc etc.
no chance from my perspective, black and white seem pretty safe..lol
The sales guy even sent me a code with how they would recommend it be speccedNever heard of this from my son ie option choices as for deposit amounts l think that varies from dealership to dealership
I think we'd both be amazed on how many folk's wouldn't know how to spec a Porsche due to the vast amount of options available on every model can't say the same fir Audi thoughThe sales guy even sent me a code with how they would recommend it be specced

Get it soldI stuck my reg into WBAC this morning, it's risen by £1500 this month..........
Just checked mine off the back of your post and similar increase here too. They don’t know about my exclusive colour or dynamic pack though so it’s all a bit meaningless. Also not convinced about WBAC……when I offloaded my S3 in June to get the RS3 I didn’t want to sell privately. A local specialist dealer gave me £2700 more than WBAC were quoting. He then went on to sell it within a week at a further £3k on top!!!I stuck my reg into WBAC this morning, it's risen by £1500 this month..........

just checked mine now & yeah it’s risen £2k since last weekend !
WBAC is last place I would go, so reckon very conservative valuation. Sold my JCW back to dealer for £37k, £3k more than I paid (I did get £6k discount back in Jul 21), they then sold within days for £40,995. WBAC had offered £34k, but as you say their valuation may otentially rise based on spec, Motorway had offered £35,500
