How do you tell the difference which ones have Tyre pressure monitoring and not? Can you not get it added on after even thought I’d be a pain

It appears that the few 'launch editions' which came to the UK were fitted with TPM but this is NOT a feature available on any of the other cars including Vorsprung.
It may be possible to retrofit but not sure.
(the tell tale sign is the silver valve caps on cars with TPM)

And the Frankenstein cars too… Weird the base models with some options get it but the top of the range Vorsprungs don’t. Yet another Audi **** up.

So cars with all black stems are normal valves ? You can tell a TPMS valve stem as it’s ‘chunkier’ in dia and on most cars it’s grey.

Can’t be done by inputting a code on vcds? What about Odis?

You can unlock the A3 8Y SFD free using obdeleven pro edition which will give you 90 minutes before being locked and if you need more time you can just unlock for another 90 minutes etc. You can also after unlocking, you can remove the obdeleven and replace with VCDS and you would have the remaining unused minutes left.

Do you know anyone that’s done the 8Y Active TPMS retrofit using the SFD via OBD11 ?

My vorsprung is waiting to be loaded onto the ship

On the dealers system my vin number is showing as having the 360 camera fitted.

Has it definitely been removed from the vorsprungs?

I was told it was and that the price had been reduced. Read like a generic email rather than one specific to my order

Wonder, if the 360 wiring was installed and then being supplied without the chip bits not installed due to shortage.

Can’t remember which topic it was in but someone mention the wrinkles on the seats. Just watched Joe Achilles video of his 9 month old M3 with the optional carbon buckets and the leather has actually worn and burst through.

A couple of miles up the Road from me, Tend to specialise in modded cars. They retail some nice stuff but at the very top end of the price spectrum.......

Hey guys, steering wheel question. Whilst i know that the RS3 8Y MFSW buttons are different to the 8V in the fact that there is an RS button on the R/H MFSW button cluster, is the plastic steering wheel bezel the same on 8Y & 8V? I ask as I received my custom steering wheel today and want to install a bezel on that rather than remove the OEM bezel from the steering wheel that comes with the new RS. Any help appreciated :thumbs up:

I believe they are the same bezel but not 100% without having mine in front of me. The S3 8V steering wheel was certainly the same as the 8Y one other than the RS having the button as you mentioned.

Where does the information about no TPMS come from? As that is headline shown on the RS monitor.
