start up is very quiet mate when the car is warm.
Cold start up is much better but it only lasts a few seconds.
Nothing remotely close to the start up of the 8v

I have to check now and again to make sure the 5 pot hasn’t been nicked and someone has shoved a 4 pot in there……..

It did sound marginally better with the valves unplugged and open, so a valve controller maybe on the cards.

Saw you arrive but you sped off before I could jump out my car for a chat. When you left the wife was back so I couldn't chat then either!

Ah no worries, Next time! I'm sure you'll see me about if you're local.

I have noticed it's been getting a lot of attention since having it. I'm nervous to park it anywhere

I saw my first other 8Y RS3 on the road last night - blue hatch.
Kinda annoyed me as it means mine is not the only one in my area anymore so lost some exclusivity lol
It did look good though and had great road presence.
Still getting lots of positive comments about the car - I think everyone really likes the styling of these cars.
They are certainly more aggressive and purposeful looking than the 8v.

Yes it’s not as loud as previous rs3 but it’s still another league from a 4 pot

it’s no 8v in the sound department but believe me it’s in a different league still to the 4 pot A45s dyson vacuum

I assumed you were being flippant but you genuinely think it sounds the same as a 4 pot?! Can’t you tell the difference?

It’s got a totally different sound and so it’s a real shame if you can’t hear the difference - the more characterful sound was why I got an rs3 and I can clearly hear it sounds different.

Must admit if I couldnt tell the difference I would sell mine!!

I’m referring to the engine noise at the front.

It’s 100% more audible now the car is so quiet so you hear it in the cabin.

Sounds awful, especially on downshifts.

Hi TX - Start of September and arrived this week. Yes it's a Vorsprung. Came without wireless charging, 360 camera and TPMS as expected.

I thought I saw you near Roma/Tuscany (got a house in Tuscany) but I see you live in Turin so it’s a different kemora grey RS3 what a shame haha amazing spec and the color is amazing IMO, got an R8 in the same color just love it
