If you’re on a press drive and it’s not your car, you would too I’m sure. Otherwise what’s the point in free fuel?

I wouldn't go taking video shorts with the brakes almost on fire though you can knock the life out of a car without burning the brakes off it Petrol Ped is so bleeding boring not a fan at all...he got all his subs off the back of the first lockdown by walking his 2 dogs and putting black emblems on his mini and yeah l am anti PP hence my commentIf you’re on a press drive and it’s not your car, you would too I’m sure. I used to prepare quite a few track day 911's, it always went the same way, a std 911 would come in after two laps max with the brake pedal down to the floor, add some extra cooling pipes and some slightly 'harder' brake pads and a good brake fluid and it would be better, go the full 'race' type brake pads and the customer would be happy on the track, until he drove it on the road and they start to squeel.
Then they would try slicks which would tie the suspension up in knots, so they'd go for 'harder' springs/roll bars/dampers and end up with a car that was downright uncomfortable on the road
Quite a few ended up with a pure track car that they would trailer to the circuits, much easier than trying to drive to circuit and carry a change wheels with slicks at circuit
I recieved an e-mail from my dealer yesterday with a confirmed build date of week 47. Car ia a carbon edition.
I drove my dealers demo at the weekend, the car was superb, the roads were wet but it felt more planted than my MY18 car on PS Michelins, the revised rear axle set up transforms the car, steering is more positive and overall the car is just superb. Roll on whenever my arrives...

Yep I know i just don't understand how some have been pulled forward and I've been pushed back its just getting me down I guess kinda had enough
Just put a date of Sept 2022 for delivery in your mind, then anything before that is a bonus. Lol. Seriously though, I feel for people actually waiting on the cars because they want them ASAP, I'm just less annoyed because I don't want mine particularly early.
Now, if it gets to Sept next year and mine still isn't here then I'll be the first to complain about it. Lol.

They should’ve given you a price that they’ll honour, it’s always been like that for me when PXing a car with Audi? Granted it’s a little more volatile than normal just now, but still, it’s not your fault it’ll be longer before you trade it in, it’s theirs.

He's talking twaddle.
When you do the deal your px is agreed to a minimum, it can only go up or as low as the minimum. The risk sits with them.
That’s what I was told by the ŠKODA salesman when I was looking at buying the electric car they have. That was only last month.

I don’t know what’s more frustrating:
A) being told your car is 6 months away but getting different build weeks that get closer and closer then further away… then closer… then further away…
Or
B) having a confirmed build week that hasn’t changed but is now 11 weeks in the past, but to still not have the car…
Note that for option B there is zero comms from the dealer with any news at all…

Yes, ordered 25 August, OBW 43, CBW 46, but still waiting for confirmation that anything has happened yet and for chassis no.
Your getting £1200 off for just being customer I've been offered £1650 for my car being off the road on 9 separate occasions and its been in the dealership for 5 weeks this coming Monday its beyond a joke .

Same as mine apart from colour but mines been back and forth like a fiddlers elbow then hit with wk 11
I know it's easy to say, but a few months isn't going to kill you and you have to ask what is the value in cancelling? You'll not get the car you want and by the time March arrives and everyone's raving about their RS3s you'll be wishing you'd waited. I know it's frustrating, but surely it's worth the wait, just look how quick the time goes
Gonna give it a couple weeks see what happens this is going to be my first new car and the whole excitement and looking forward to it has evaporated lol
The last new Audi (A3) I bought was a complete POS and a disaster
We picked it up in the pouring rain, not a good omen in my books
She made me check every wheel on the car and sign they were ok and not kerbed
On the way home it rattled under the dash and the steering wheel was ****** to the left
I thought I would leave it a couple of weeks and see what else was wrong
I went in and told them about the steering wheel and they said it was due to the road camber, I told them no, the wheel was down to the left, not the right
They said it was going to cost me £450 to have the alignment checked becasue I had probably kerbed it
This was followed by me going OFF on one big time, they retracked the car for free
