I'd say you need to regass the system. It should sit at around 5 Bar when off and 9 bar when running. The system does lose gas overtime if not used.

Both decent brands. They aren't interchangeable so make sure your clutch and flywheel are the same make. When I changed them on my A4 CAGA I also had to replace the thrust bearing sleeve as the new bearing wouldn't slide over it.

Are you talking about the footwell lighting?

I'm not sure if these cars have it, but fords use to have a fan assisted temperature sensor in the climate control module for the cabin temperature which made that noise.

When I done mine on my A4 I used an old ford wiper relay. I tapped off the reverse light for the trigger, then found a spare fuse in the boot fuse box for the main power. I wouldn't wire it directly to the reverse as in tends to cut out if you do.

I can't find any wiring diagrams for that, but that brown wire looks a bit mangled.

I fitted one to my A4 when I had it. It was the slowest charger I ever used and it must have been designed around a Iphone 5 because anything bigger than that didn't fit.

I know this is a daft question but have you released the parking brake before trying to wind it back with VCDS? it wont work if the brake is on.

Ive got the RSNav unit in my A5. its good but to be honest the Bavarian automotive one that I fitted to the wifes car is just as good and arrives alot quicker.

You are correct The first 2 letter say what model it is fitted to. So not always interchangeable.
