Get yourself a dragy and do the runs in dynamic and performance with stability in sport and offGetting the dealer car this afternoon. Other than a 4 wheel dyno run is there anything else anyone wants to see?
If I had a draggy I’d use it. But we do have the cars built in timer. Actually a racebox would be better as I use my phone to control the go pro.Get yourself a dragy and do the runs in dynamic and performance with stability in sport and off
Oh interesting thanks. Do you happen to know which specific Potenza tyres they are using?
Does Bridgestone Potenza Sport mean anything? That's what I'm sure was on one LE I've seen.Oh interesting thanks. Do you happen to know which specific Potenza tyres they are using?

Also seen photos of P Zeros on other LEs, so could be pot luck as to what you get...

you can found photo it was few page earlierDon't really know until we know exactly what Potenza's are being fitted. I did have awful luck with my P Zero's on the old car though...

I know everyone raves about Michelin Pilot 4S but most who change to them are probably changing from a 2-3 year old set of worn out high mileage tyres, and at that age and wear even changing from an old set of PS 4S to a new set would feel very different.I'm presuming the P Zeros are P4's, if so:

Not sure how subjective these tests are but it gives a general idea. Doesn't seem to be much in it.
I have a Racebox, live in West London, near Twickenham Rugby Grounds. pm me, if you want to use it.If I had a draggy I’d use it. But we do have the cars built in timer. Actually a racebox would be better as I use my phone to control the go pro.
It’s a 50/50 for some reason, noticed a lot of base models YouTube drivers tested had Bridgestones but my LE has P Zeros so I thought it was a case of the base alloys Bridgestones and the 5 spoke LE wheels came with P Zeros but the other member Alex Sillitoe has a LE which has bradgestones so that stops my theory. No idea what picks the choice of tires unless they pick what ever set they come across firstSo far all cars I've seen have been on Bridgestones so who knows.
This looks the spitting image of Riviera hereLove the roof rails, makes it look like a mini RS6 imho!
Some more pics of the demo car.

Following on from this, I got confirmation today from the dealer that it has started the build process and they expect to have it in March, which would be ideal.Got this email today. Only ordered about 3 weeks ago. Surely it’s not being built now?
Better than what I got, I emailed him around 4 days ago and said that was a couple vorsprungs getting build weeks this year and in other words he basically told me they where lying because the factory is **** for Christmas and new year as that’s what it’s done for the last 40 years….Following on from this, I got confirmation today from the dealer that it has started the build process and they expect to have it in March, which would be ideal.
That’s a lot quicker than I was led to believe for a Vorsprung when I placed the order. Maybe things are moving faster than expected.

That photo has had just as much CGI applied to it as a Star Wars movieSaw this on their Instagram, I’m happy with my choice of Daytona.

That would apparently be until ready to collect, which with Xmas and shipping etc sounds reasonably sensible.3.5 months to build it

Sounds about right, when I ordered the 8V, mid Dec 2019 it arrived in UK 3rd week of March 2020 at the dealers 3+ months when no chip issue and BAU build. That would apparently be until ready to collect, which with Xmas and shipping etc sounds reasonably sensible.
I have no idea really as it’s seems to be a lot quicker than others are being told so I’ll just wait and see.
Which dealer is it? Seems very optomistic!Following on from this, I got confirmation today from the dealer that it has started the build process and they expect to have it in March, which would be ideal.

Good mate, look forward to getting the cats and OPFS removed. Then hopefully not long till eventuris intake is outLaunch edition ganggg, how you enjoying the car mate? @billymc92
I'd rather not say as I know there are people on here who ordered from the same dealership well before me and are expecting cars much later. Don't want to cause problems for them.Which dealer is it? Seems very optomistic!

My Golf R left the factory and was at the dealer within about 10 days, just all depends how they 'catch' the boat and how quick Audi/VW deliver them to the dealer, 3 months from build to arriving at dealer is incorrect. That would apparently be until ready to collect, which with Xmas and shipping etc sounds reasonably sensible.

Agreed, just a real knobhead decision from AudiUK to omit the interior upgrade choice!!!!Everybody didn't believe me when I said the S3 8Y was a step up over the 8V and the interior was a nice place to be. Seems it's the same consensus for those who have/had 8V RS3s.
When you say a "standard" car thats basically the bottom spec i.e. Standard, LE, CB, VSI have just had confirmation that my car has been shipped. It was on the ship expected to leave on 16th, which was delayed to 17th, so was most likely City of Oslo (to Tyne), as per earlier post. I hope that those waiting on delivery to Grimsby were also lucky in having their cars on EMS Highway.
It is Audi UK that organise transport to dealers, not the individual dealers/groups, which makes sense.
I also now have my complete VIN and have been able to add the car to myAudi, where I can see the detailed specs. Mine is a standard car and, just to clarify a few things that have been discussed on other posts, the spec includes:
Manual boot lid;
Foot rest in black; and
Wheels in Platinum Grey, gloss turned finish.
There is no mention of lumbar adjustment, whether electric or manual.

Thanks. I suspect that there is a lot of cutting and pasting between the various specs for different models/versions, where some things that should be changed get missed. I noticed a number of things like that in the spec listings within Build section. Good luck with yours.Excellent news.
I'm hoping my car made it to Grimsby and Dealer will hopefully confirm shortly.
It is odd why my spec on the app advises power tailgate as a) its a boot and b) I thought it was vorsprung only
I'll see once the car arrives I guess.
